Looks like our D2 tribute Isabelle Fuhrman is a busy girl these days.  She is reported to be starting filming for the new M.Night Shyamalan’s new movie ‘After Earth’.

IFC recently caught up with Isabelle who talked about  starting her new movie and meeting  co-sars Will and Jaden Smith.

The film “After Earth” has been an intriguing project ever since it was announced. It’s M. Night Shyamalan‘s follow-up to 2010′s “The Last Airbender,” and teams the director with stars Will Smithand Jaden Smith. The sci-fi flick will be something new for both Shyamalan and Jaden, but is a good opportunity for the younger Smith to stretch his acting abilities.

In addition to the father-son duo, “The Hunger Games” star Isabelle Fuhrman also stars in the film. IFC caught up with the actress and found out that filming on “After Earth” actually began the following day.

“I’m very excited to get back out there, tonight actually, and start filming tomorrow,” she said.

This will be the second time the Smiths have acted together, the first being Jaden’s film debut in 2006′s “The Pursuit of Happyness.” Furhman told us that Will and Jaden both seemed great when she met them previously.

“I have met with Will and Jaden, I met them about a month ago when I went to rehearsals,” she said. “Will is hilarious and Jaden’s such a sweet guy.”

Fuhrman plays Rayna, a friend of Jaden’s character from the home planet. The cast also includes Zoe Kravitz (son of Fuhrman’s “The Hunger Games” costar Lenny Kravitz) as Will’s daughter and Sophie Okonedo as his wife.

Isabelle Fuhrman, Gabrielle Union: Best Dressed in Jason Wu.

On April 19, InStyle’s “Dinner with a Designer” feted Jason Wu. Among Mr. Wu’s friends and supporters at the West Hollywood event were Isabelle Fuhrman of The Hunger Games and Good Deeds actress Gabrielle Union.

Isabelle Fuhrman may have been one of, if not the youngest guest at the dinner, but she was no less stylish than her fellow partygoers. The talented 15-year-old wore a Jason Wu Pre-Fall 2012 ensemble with success! Isabelle picked a fantastic green-and-blue embellished top with blue-and-black riding pants. The Hunger Games’ Clove is no stranger to Jason Wu outfits. Isabelle had similar success with the designer at the 2012 Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards in March.

Thirty-nine-year-old Gabrielle Union looked as youthful as ever at InStyle’s “Dinner with a Designer.” The Think Like a Man actress made a pretty picture in her floral frock. The dress had a black, knotted belt, and a flared skirt. Gabrielle paired her dress with Valentino peep-toes, and a black clutch.
